Impact
A Better Future
I’m a strong advocate for creating an equitable and inclusive future.
From grassroots programs to high-level governance work, I’ve enjoyed the opportunities over the past 14 years, supporting social impact.
Some of the roles that I’ve undertaken over years include:
- project manager
- volunteer trainer
- executive board director
- Chair of Risk and Audit Committee
- Chair of Partnership Committee
- Communications Director
- International Relations Director.
Suzi is particularly interested in supporting causes relating to gender equity, education and diversity and inclusion and is listed in Victorian Women’s Trust Here She Is talent pool directory.
Suzi has also built her business consulting firm Notonos Global based on the United Nations Global Compact, a principle-based approach to doing good business.
Impact Projects
Aussie Books for Zim
Aussie Books for Zim is an Australian-based charity that rescues books from landfills to build libraries and literacy programs in rural Zimbabwe.
Since its set up in 2016, 25,000 books have been shipped to Zimbabwe to set up 8 libraries in 4 rural communities.
Suzi has been Aussie Books for Zim’s Communications and Campaign Advisor since November 2018, managing and implementing high-value projects including the Tariro | Journal of Hope photographic exhibition as featured on WIN NEWS (The NINE Network).
Gender Equity Makers
In 2018, Suzi, through Notonos Global, launched the Gender Equity Makers (GEM) program in Melbourne.
The first GEM program worked specifically with Japanese female leaders who travelled from Tokyo and nearby regions to Melbourne.
